Fragrance and Perfume Tips

Perfume is one of the must-have accessories for chic women & men as scents emit beauty and charm. Remember perfume reflects your personality and keeps your presence alive even in your absence

Different types come with various price tags. Perfumes provide the best value but are the costliest of all fragrances.

Types

The main ingredient of fragrance is essential/fragrance oil and alcohol. Therefore, types of perfume are divided by how concentrated essential oil is in it.

  • Parfum - The most expensive with the longest staying power.  With highly concentrated to 22% of essential oils and lasts 6 hours or more

  • Eau de Parfum - Less oil and staying power. 15%-18% of ingredient is fragrance oil and lasts about 3-5 hours
  • Eau de Toilette - with 8%-10% oils. Lasts about 2 hours
  • Eau de Cologne – with 3%-4% essential oil. The most inexpensive and weakest scent. Sample products are body gel or lotion.

Application Tipssexy lip

  • Apply fragrance to your skin and pulse points only.  The alcohol in the perfume can make jewelry (like pearl, silver or turquoise) and clothing any stains and discoloration.  So let your fragrance dry before getting dressed if you can
  • Allow it to dry naturally. Do not rub your wrists together, this will alter and diminish the scent. Avoid using it near your face as it’ll cause acne and irritation.  Or not behind your ears as it will be easy for it to mix with the secretions of your skin and form a strange smell.
  • For a longer lasting aroma, apply the same scent in layers. Many fragrances also come in bath soap, gel, and body lotion. Top off with perfume of the same scent for the long run. This will probably last you six to eight hours. women fragrance
  • If you spray perfume too much, you can apply free-fragrance lotion or soap on that area.  It can reduce the strong smell of the perfume.

Storage

Avoid extreme temperatures when storing fragrances. Keep your bottle tightly capped, upright and out of direct sunlight. It's not necessary to store them in the refrigerator, however, a cool, dark place should prolong the life of your scent and ensure that the lead is tightly secure. Follow proper storage rules, fragrance will darken with age and improper storage.
